But if you buy the PS4 version, you have the option to buy a separate, discrete Xbox dongle, and vice versa. If you buy the Xbox version, there’s no adapter, because it works with the Xbox’s internal wireless systems. If you buy the PS4 version of the headset, it comes with a dongle that attaches to a PC, PS4 and docked Switch. The Astro A20 splits the PS/Xbox difference in a deceptively simple way: with an adapter. I was even surprised to find that the bass was far more robust than in most gaming headsets, which was great for the ominous growls of Blasphemous or the resounding bomb blasts of Hyrule Warriors. I was impressed with how the Astro A20 handled every genre, from crackling fireballs in Baldur’s Gate, to spirited dialogue in Genshin Impact.

I tested the headset with a variety of games across a variety of systems, including Genshin Impact on the PS4, Blasphemous on the Xbox One, Baldur’s Gate III on the PC and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on the Switch. And while gamers should expect good sound from headsets that cost more than $100, I can think of wireless headsets in the $150 range that don’t sound nearly as good as the Astro A20. The earcups don’t swivel, however, and the arms don’t have much give, which could prevent some players from getting a good seal around the ears. On the other hand, I was never able to get a great fit, due to the unconventional headband adjustment. You can swipe to the right or left to delete, archive, pin, or mark an email as unread.Even with my glasses on, I could wear the Astro A20 for hours without any discomfort. It also has gesture-based actions for getting to inbox zero. This is invaluable when you regularly get emails that you need to respond to but don't have time for until the end of the day. Spark also allows you to snooze an email and come back to take care of it at a later time.
Lastly, emails you've seen but haven't moved to another folder. Below that, there are emails you've flagged or tagged as necessary in some way. Below that, you'll see a section called "Newsletters," which is precisely that. Emails that look like alerts from companies you deal with, like your gas company or Amazon, include an alert or notification in a separate section. That is, any email that is from someone in your contacts or otherwise looks like a personal email will be filtered to the top of the inbox list. Spark has this "Smart Inbox" feature that separates mail into categories: Personal, Notifications, Newsletters, Pinned, and Seen.
